Two Father's Day Celebrations

We celebrated Father's Day a week early with Grandmom and Grandpop and then headed to Cleveland to celebrate the next week with Nanny and Papa. That meant lots of parties! Mom, Faegan and I drove to Cleveland and dad flew out and met us. I slept almost the whole way and gave mom a break because she wasn't really sure what she was going to do with a baby and a dog at a rest stop! Mom says I am a super traveler. All I know is I know how those rock stars feel, I go to sleep in one place and wake up in a totally different state!

Grandmom, Grandpop and uncle Michael came over for dinner.

Grandpop and I were playing "super baby" where he flies me all over the house like the super hero that I am! It's one of my favorite games, besides pattycake and the "turn your head away game" that I invented myself at bedtime. More on that later.
Nanny had some totally cool new toys for me, like this water table. It is so fun to splash in, I stood here for hours! I also like to dip my binkie in the water and then suck the water off of it. Very refreshing.

Unfortunately, I got sick while I was at Nanny's and had a fever. Hence the "old man pose" here. Mom took me to the Dr. when we got back and I have a double ear infection. Interestingly enough, I also got at least one new tooth at the same time, and the last time I had an ear infection (in March) I got my two bottom teeth.

Once the Motrin kicked in I was back in business! Mom didn't bother putting any clothes on me for the rest of the weekend because it was hot out and I was running a fever. I felt very underdressed.

Here's an action shot. I was on the move, trying to make up for lost time while I was down and out not feeling so great. There was alot to see and do, and we were only there for a few days!

What do you mean you are out of lobster? I ordered lobster, not turkey and gravy out of a jar!

Excuse me, Mom? Can you keep it down please? Papa and I are trying to watch the US Open and we need the gallery to be quiet while Tiger makes this putt, okay? Papa says I need to study his stroke and it's hard to concentrate!

Long time no post...

Well its been a few weeks since a post, sorry to keep Wyatt's fans waiting. Not too terribly much to report. Wyatt is speedier than ever crawling around and loves to pull himself up to standing every chance he gets, even if he's not sure what to do when he gets there. We are now routinely greeted by Wyatt standing in his crib waiting for us to come in every morning. It is very cute at 6:30 a.m. (not so much at 4:30). Cheerios are a new favorite although he seems to find it easier to bring his mouth to the Cheerios on the table than lift the Cheerios to his mouth... fine motor skills apparently still need some work. Wyatt also spent his first nights away from mom and dad when they went to Florida. Wyatt had three night with Grandmom and Grandpop and did great. It was probably harder on mom and dad.

Enjoy the miscellaneous pics...

Having a bottle with mom at Ms. Alyssa and Mr. Jason's

In my newly expanded corral with my walker table... I love to chase mom and dad around it in circles.

Mom and Dad are home from their trip, I'm so excited!!
(Thanks for taking good care of me Grandmom and Grandpop)

Mom and Dad went to Florida and all I got was this lousy hat!
Mom snuck up and took this picture of dad putting me to bed (that's why its so dark).
I wasn't so excited about the prospect so I decided to stand up and discuss my terms with him.
