Don't Fence Me In!

I turned 8 months old on Tuesday, and mom and dad got me a baby corral as a gift. Wait a minute, they told me this was a gift, that it would be fun, but it seems my mobility is being limited! I think I've been scammed!

Imagine my surprise when I realized these bars prevent me from crawling after Faegan. I know Faegan is just as disturbed as I am that I can no longer follow her all over the house.

Okay, I have to admit, this thing is pretty cool. Oh yeah, did I mention I am totally standing on my own?

But I haven't figured out how to get back down on the ground yet. This stuff is complicated!

Free at last, free at last! I am headed into the kitchen to see what mom's fixing for dinner. I would really prefer the winter squash over the sweet corn.

Giddy up dad! Let's get moving!

Food Fun!

Wyatt gave mom a mother's day gift a day early- he began crawling on Saturday. We knew it was coming soon as he has been rocking back and forth on his knees for a few weeks. But he spent Saturday morning studying Faegan walking around the house and suddenly the lightbulb went off- move arms and legs together!

Prunes taste better when they are smeared all over your face, don't you know.

I like it when dad holds my bottle like the water bottle in the bunny cage at school, I can just come up and take a few sips here and there, and then go about my business. I am a very busy guy, I need to be able to eat on the run.

Mom decided to slow me down and put me in my highchair. Sure I can hold my own bottle, but what's the point when other people are willing to hold it for me? Notice the red knees- I just spent a couple hours crawling after Faegan. If I didn't know any better, I would think she was intentionally avoiding me!

It wasn't me, I swear!

I'm trying out mom's new saddle. I'm ready for my pony!

Kentucky Derby and May Flowers

Ms. Alyssa and Mr. Jason came to dinner last Saturday, and they got here just in time to see Big Brown run to victory. I entertained them with my head shaking "crazy dance." Mom had something called a mint julip and then danced with me. I like when mom dances with me. Mom doesn't think "stranger anxiety" is going to set in anytime soon, I am still Mr. Social.

Here I am hanging out with Mr. Jason after dinner.

Busted. I thought I could sneak a sip while Mom was busy talking, Dad caught the whole thing on camera! That Blue Moon makes a tasty beer (or so I am told).

We have had some beautiful weather, and I like to sit in the grass with Faegan.

Nanny sent me my own gardening set. I I'm going to plant mom some of those mint tulips she likes so much.

My work here is done...I'll just nibble in this spade and wait for the garden to grow.
